近くの兆し遠くの兆し – Description

Meteoroscape photography expressed the “Future is connected to the present”

■ Description

The description of this work has been already stated in the exhibition “兆し、或いは魔の山にて / In Signs or in Der Zauberberg”. The key is in the title.

Each titles that attached to photographs become a word to represent the photograph shown after 2 pieces, and when you notice it, when you look at the last two titles, the imagination of what kind of picture will come next comes to your mind. I think that the illusion could be the form of postwar Japanese faith, and it is a “New Year’s cultures in Japan”, I wonder.

As an example, it is completed by the flow photographing of the day, but the work form can be said to be post-production. In a word, it can be adjusted with the hands of the author. It is up to the individual to decide how to think about it. At least they are not the nature photography.

Then I’d like to refer Joseph Kosuth “One and three chairs”, which are familiar as a conceptual art masterpiece and a work always be listed on the art textbooks.

It is a work of “contemporary art”, though it should be said that the work is based on the idea of the existence of IDEA of Plato. Word, image, and physical thing each has the same one IDEA the ‘beauty’. It is to express it in a contemporary way.

On the other hand, the IDEA of this work is not universal (so, “IDEA” is not a good word to describe it). It changes one after another. Nevertheless, this unstableness is existed for hope for the future.
