Meteoroscape photography expressed the “Persuade you to unite”
■ Description
As time goes by, memories become blurred. The ‘contemporary’ age that this work is trying to express might not look pin sharp now either. Then you get a clue in one piece of the last, the fallen tree to find out what.
This is because the new fallen tree shows the effects of the recent heavy rain disaster.
Torrential rain disaster in the Kinugawa River Basin. Some people might recall that there was a report that they rescued a man who cringed to a telephone pole perhaps. You could assume the fallout of climate change here.
But how easy we can forget and divide. For example, I could have selected just beautiful photos of autumn leaves. It might be more profitable.
In a word, what we are talking about is the ‘contemporary’ age which is easy to divide such consideration of us rather than just climate change.
Through this work, I would like to unite us a little forcefully in the form of physicality and to share the “awareness”, in the name of the famous song of Kyu Sakamoto, who connected people soon after the war.
This work was produced with such an intention.
