Meteoroscape photography expressed the “the original work as a combination of tragedy and comedy.”
■ Description

The data was poorly saved and had been hidden as a failure, but recent AI advancements in data recovery have reached a practical level, leading to a persistently rebuilt work much like “Neon Genesis Exxxgelion.” It was displayed as one of the highlights of the “Searching for the Door into Summer” exhibition, 2025.
As you can see, when the shutter speed is set to one second and waves are photographed, the resulting image resembles the curtain of a theater that repeatedly rises and falls, regardless of whether it is a tragedy or comedy.
…This appears to be a straightforward photo so-so designed. It is a lifelong work that I, Kujo Itsuki, have often photographed using the same approach.
But why can I, who always promise that “I am such a poor designer” and that “I tend to get on with negative capability” (←?), call this my life’s work? The secret lies not in the waves… but rather in the shore.
When taking a one-second exposure, both the waves and the beach are actually moving along with the waves. As a result, the more you enlarge that photo, the more the overall “blur becomes noticeable.” In other words, this is a “failed photo accepted with resolve.” It is akin to a scratch on the glass while gazing at a snowy landscape, expressing the nature of the ORIGIN overlapping tragedy and comedy.
Of course, the cause of that “failure” is not so simple, as it also depends on possibilities of camera shake and the timing of the waves crashing.

Also, if I leave the grudge clause at the end, the part printed this time will be the last exhibition of “Project Meteoroscape”, so I carefully chose the paper with a focus on coloring, but the manufacturer discontinued the paper and it could not be reproduced.
However, if this is taken on the good side, it may be a kind of “superposition of tragedy and comedy”.
For this reason, it may not seem good from the perspective of positive design, but contrary to the title, this work is a piece that does not repeat, and it can be said that it is suitable for the role for the last as a project to “create One and Only by an individual” with the underlying theme of “a story of determination”.
