Meteoroscape photography expressed the “2 different societies”.

■ Description

Which would you prefer, a society where people of different races, religions, cultures, and languages live together, or a society in which everyone has a uniform background and is probably right-facing? In a sense, this is a fundamental question.

It seems to be the difference between a country with many immigrants or a large number of ethnic minorities and a so-called nation-state. Or, it is just like the difference between the life of an urban rat and a country mouse.

Well, from the connection with the cherry blossoms story last time, I wonder the former is superior with freedom and diversity predominant? … When I looked at these two zoos, I realized things are not so easy.

In the case of the “Monkey Center”, a completely different kind of monkey will live in a relatively small land, so it will be a system that confined it in a cage and managed uniformly. It will surely be difficult for zookeepers to share information with each other, and there will be no choice but to respond to each other separately. The imposition of ethics from above seems to be tight.

On the other hand, “Monkey Park” is visible to staff, so it should be easy to prevent accidents to occur from the beginning even if movement restrictions are not imposed. Instead, monkeys are always fighting with each other even though they are supposed to be getting enough food. The fact that they look so badass may not unrelated with it. They may suddenly invade other countries.

In other words, I don’t want to say which one is superior.

So, this time, both monkeys tried to cut it out in the style of ID photos as much as possible. Same lens, common camera settings. However, due to differences in breeding environment and species, it inevitably deviates from that. I think that reflects the conditions stated above.

In addition to that, as an element of play, I tried to create a style in which the left and right groups confronted each other. It’s called “12 Monkeys,” but it’s like “Ocean’s 12.” Maybe the sexy monkey in “Monkey Park” plays a role of Julia Roberts.

If the theme of the movie weren’t for the spread of virus, I fantasized that “12 Monkeys” would have been such a stylish Hollywood movie originally.
