SEVEN AND THE HALF – Description

Scenes of “Nagisa, where we find ourselves” based on Ivory color

■ Description

It was a summer day off. I was standing still by the dark sea shore, Shirahama, just before the dawn with my shiny brand new SLR. An indulging emerald-green seascape, I was fascinated those photographs on an ad, obliged me to get there.

In thosedays, I was like “must to create great photographs” kind of guy. Inversely I made it happen in a dream in a dream. So, came to think of it, there are 2 sorts of things;

Things you can control by yourself, and things you can’t.

I’m sorry to say that scenery photography has little room for ‘control’s. Weather, Accidents, they can make the outcomes sometimes. OK, to begin with, SLR is not my own creation. “How much of it is under your ‘control’s? Were you able to choose equipments? Working funds? How about yourself? Can you control your skills and sense sufficiently well enough?”

As the solemn sun was rising lit, I was feeling nasty despite the scenery was just perfect.

It was the moment. The lay of light hit me. – All you can “control” is what you mind of, decide to look at, and how to take, no matter what is laid down in front of you.

That’s why the outcome was the “Nagisa”-scapes, which I decided to take by one second exposure.

…Well, lastly I tell you that I used a little trick as the volume of light at the summer beachside was too much, and this story is a little exaggerated 😉
