Happy New Year! It is winter at last. This is the bustle of the new year around Ise Jingu Shrine.
Because Ise Jingu shrine is a genealogy of the national Shinto, it is deeply related to the Showa era. In the past Showa, the main concern for the military men who wielded power was “Defense of National Body”. However, it is not transmitted at all mysteriously whether the “National Body ” meant concretely. What was it all about, I wonder?
Now, if I dared to define the “National Body”, I think it signifies white and red after all, – which means it is about a man and a woman. I think that the style that a man and the woman meet and set up the child, the aspect which differs in each country, and that is “National Body”. In a word, they are methods of Matsuri, a Festival in English.
And in Japan, the festival is “Summer Festival”, but it seems that for participating in the summer festival, the already-have-a-lover-qualification is required before.
So now, isn’t it possible to say that the festival is functioning well?
By comparison, the New Year’s festival is very flat and anyone can participate in. It seems to be a rare opportunity even if it goes through the year. If such an opportunity is set up to provide a place for men and women to meet, it will be a stop to the declining birthrate and aging population. I was wondering about the prime minister’s project .
